i love the idea of this game the only thing im hating is the lack of balancing and explanations behind how you fight against your enemies and the bonus food soul is almost impossible to get due to this problem with bad balancing, bad objectives/goals to get the benefits food soul and a lot more, so im not very impressed and because of this i may very well give up on this game because its unbalanced, unexplained properly and quite frankly pretty unfair for recreational players so please fix it
I'm loving this game so much, I love the art, the characters and I bet the game devs had a whiz creating this. Kudos to the artists, it inspires me to do better in my own art! Thank for thus game!!╰(*´︶`*)╯
I pre ordered this game a while back, and I was excited when I got it!! The animations and artwork is sooo cute and beautiful, and this game is really well developed. I’ve had no problems so far, and I hope I don’t come across any in the future. I started playing the game, and realized I could put my phone down. It is very entertaining, and very aesthetically pleasing. The concept of the game is very nice, and makes me want to recommend it to many more people.
First of all, I love this game. However, when I first started playing I felt that the game pushed a lot onto you too fast. I was very quickly overwhelmed with things that I lost track of where everything is. Maybe instead of thrusting it all upon you at once, give the player a bit of wiggle room during the tutorial to get used to what they’re doing, and then moving onto the next thing to do, if that makes sense!
Lots of options to mix and match your teams, and the food themed attacks and names are good fun! But if it added a coin shop (like the tip or medal) then that would be cool. And fully explaining things like how to restore freshness and how to rank up fallen angels, then it would make game play a bit easier. I can’t wait to see what new updates they come up with and all the exciting events to come.
It’s the type of game where if you literally have a small amount of patience you can progress easily without having to be forced to pay for stuff. It’s so addicting and every character has a personality and unique ability which I just love! There’s so much to do and they don’t skimp you out on daily rewards!
I really like this game, but I do have a few nitpicks. There are some translation errors, because some of the characters’ genders get mixed up. Like how Sashimi’s bio says that they’re a boy, but their basic skill calls them a girl. Same with Sukiyaki. Also, I don’t know about you but leveling up is a bit hard. Gaining 50 exp per each battle and usually having to be a higher level for the next map isn’t that easy. I usually have to resort to spamming my potions to level them up. And now for the things I like about the game. I like the character art/designs, the voices are pretty decent, and the music’s nice. A thing I really like how you can sweep levels, so you don’t have to keep doing it over and over to get this ingredient. It saves so much time. And the restaurant aspect, I like it a lot. You can gain a lot of gold and see a lot of recipes from around the world(?)Anyways, I’m not that good at reviews but this is a pretty good game. It’s fun to play.

I was intrigued by this game when I saw the trailers and was counting the down the days to when this app would be released. If you’re reading this review wondering if you should get this game, DEFINITELY DO. It’s so fun and I couldn’t have enjoyed this game more. People who are complaining about how there are many bugs in the game: this game is still relatively new, so cut it some slack. Send in a bug report if you come across one, the game makers are trying their best to make the game best for your gaming experiences.
I’ve seen an ad for this game that immediately caught my eye-the design and the card game genre was something I really wanted to experience. I preordered the app, and it was released a few days later. On the first day, I spent hours into the game. The tutorial was very simple and helped me along, and there are many things to do so that you’ll never get tired of the game. The idea of the game is wonderful, and I enjoy the events and exhilaration of getting a rare food soul. Sometimes, it would load quite long and unusual, so I have to restart the app a couple of times. I would definitely recommend this to people looking for a very entertaining game!
I paid for in-app purchases which the app developer did not honour: after accepting my payment, the developer did not provide the ap purchase. Don't download this game - it is P2W, and worse than treating you like a whale, you won't even get what you paid for.
theres ENDLESS things to do in food fantasy! there’s always something to keep you busy. (although if you have run out of stamina, i suggest you play their other game, love nikki, while you wait!) all of the character designs and voice acting are amazing! i especially love their more cutesy characters.
Been playing awhile and I love the character designs and story. However there seems to be a glitch I've encountered where when I complete the main story missions of the Sakurajima stage of the main story, the story 'cutscenes' don't appear, I just get the rewards and the next story. It's disappointing as the story is a huge draw and I've gone through several missions now with no clue what is going on.
I really enjoy this game, there are so many different things to do and it’s easy to progress without having to pay for anything. My only complaint is that every day the game crashes while I’m battling in showdown. This happens multiple times a day and it’s really frustrating. Hopefully it’ll get fixed soon, but aside from that I am very happy with the game
Other than a sound bug which was quickly fixed the only problem I've had is occasional notifications saying my hearts were full again when they weren't. Would still recommend this game 100%. The art and voice acting are amazing and the game has more than one "activity" to keep you occupied.
Fantastic game, rendered nearly unplayable by extremely poor operators. The customers service is non existent, they will take your money but will not deliver. The only way to access news is via a locked Facebook page that you need a Facebook account to read. But they will take your money, oh they will.
Pretty simple and a fun gacha game, my only complaint is that the ghost items on the tip shop aren't a frequent option unfortunately, controls are solid just the connection isnt too great at the moment but maybe thats my internet sometimes XD. other than that i would love to see some Australian food souls like fairy bread or tim tams, maybe a bunnings snag.
The game has a nice atmosphere; the characters and most of the voice acting are great along with the design of the backgrounds and integration of the battle and cooking system. But keep in mind: this game is new. As of my review it’s only been out for a little bit and it’s got some polishing to do. Some things aren’t really explained that great, like the difference between soul foods that work in the diner vs soul foods you fight with. This and some other aspects of the diner will most likely be expanded upon in the future. The game itself seems like an interesting blend of game styles and it provides for a unique experience. Give it time and wait for the Wiki to be finished and I’m sure you won’t have any problem enjoying this game.
Ok, this is a hecking good game but there is a major bug. I don't know if it does this for anyone else, but whenever I try to engage in combat in the forest, the game crashes. I can get to the screen where you can edit your team but as it loads from there is when always shuts me out of the app. Other than that, this game is great and it is definitely worth the download.
I just downloaded this game earlier today, and I LOVE it already! It’s got beautiful artwork, amazing voice acting, and it’s very addictive! I of course downloaded this knowing that it might end up being some weird game where food is personified and sexualized. In some ways it is, but only if you think about it in that way.
Extremely poor service, you will never get your questions answered. They will take your money and run, and never reply to any queries. Decent as F2P, I highly recommend against P2P.
I would give this a 5/5 stars but I couldn't bc there's actually a problem with this game. When there's this task in the restaurant, it says "defeat 1 dine and dash customer" I still couldn't kill it for some reason, I kept on taping on that customer non stop! Plz fix this situation. 😭
the moment I press the app the screen goes white like the loading will begin but after 2 seconds it immediately turns black and kicks me out and back to the home screen. I was truly lookkng forward to start playing that game after all the cool advertisments. this is really sad that I cant even open it to play once. I have tried many things such as restarting device, clear cache, making more space and even un install and reinstall. im looking forward to the reply for solutions.
The characters are the best thing about the game. They have been beautifully created to match the food they are representing. My issue is that the game is very slow, and you can only progress through more stages after you level up, but it takes a long time to level up through other activities. Quests are becoming boring as they are mostly related to deliveries. Reviving your team after dying is a way of getting you to buy the gems as bosses become harder to battle after each revival.

When I first got the game everything was smooth and stuff but once I got to level 6, everything started getting on my nerves. The game would give me the same Food soul multiple times in a row, it wouldn’t level up, I failed levels I already completed. I’m starting to lose slight hope but all in all it’s a good game, I love the art and the voices, I love how it’s made.
The gameplay is really good and easy to learn. I've enjoyed mixing and matching teams quite a bit to find the best combination (and then considering how awful they would be to eat together). The only downside I've found is some parts are unclear (such as the fact you need to finish Gloriville in order to make other kinda of cuisines). I also can't figure out how to change the settings to have the English VA.
This game is sooo amazing! At least for right now, but I’m also on level 15 and started 5 days ago! I love the anticipation of going to bed every night waiting to play again tomorrow! The way that the game makes me mad challenges me to keep leveling up my souls and making them stronger! There are so many things to do in this game and for the time being, as Macaron would say, this game makes me so happy, happy, happy!
I was enjoying it until the network problem comes in. It was so annoying because everytime I wanna check on something, the network loading was so slow (my internet connection is fine, my other games also works fine) please fix this issue

I still love this game to death, truly do, even made some fanart of the characters. In all, great game! I’ve recommended it to my friends! It’s super easy to play (minus a few levels) and is always updating with new events!
a super cute game that's highly entertaining! the only issue I have and reason for 4stars is it always needs me to be connected to Wi-Fi to play it. I can't play it outside my house unless I'm using free Wi-Fi. it should be designed to ask for updates when required not every time I login hence the issue. it's a shame as my travel is long and I'd love to play it outside of home. and yes, I've tried another device. reset this one, uninstalled and reinstalled all with the same issue.
Although I thoroughly enjoy the games' events and characters, I've encountered so many bugs that have forced me to repeatedly uninstall and reinstall the game to fix the issues because clearing cache does not help. If the development team can solve bugs such as the game crashing when trying to view a certain character or when completing a stage, or the game freezing when accessing certain game modes, it will immensely improve the user experience for all its players.
really good game, could be a little easier to earn in game and a bit clearer in some explanations but other then that i really like it. Disapointed you cant reset and start from the start again. My phone had been glitching so i couldn't use a lot of my apps now that i can again i dont remember how to do everything and its all not continually flowing anymore so i would really like to start again.
Bad game. The developers dont care for players, only money. I found a bug which does not let me battle in showdown. I've asked them for help several times, shown them the error log like requested. They decided it was not worth remembering a single player like me and ignored completely. I've paid over 300 AUD for this game. Last transaction is $79.99 before the bug. I thought it was a good investment but I was wrong to trust this company. I wanted a refund and they also refused. So rude.
It's a great game with multiple different aspects of food such as; cooking/developing the food, restaurant (sell), getting food souls of your choice, and more. It's so fun and competitive to play and there's always players online!
I don’t ever make reviews on games but I really enjoy this one. Most games especially phone ones require you to spend money to be good, however this one doesn’t require that. Of course I have spent money to support the company and get more stuff but it’s definitely not needed. Additionally, the graphics and gameplay are very good and I love the art style.
I love this game, it isn't a p2w for me it was the most f2p game I have seen in a gacha. yes I spent money, but that was to support this god awesome game. the events are awesome. my only problem would be that the in game purchases should be a lil more cheaper (tho I have no reason to purchase it). ❤️please never remove this game I will cry❤️

I have played similar games like this, but this puts together ideas all together in one game. I enjoy the idea of having to go out and earn your ingredients with your food soul team. The graphics are very well done as well as the voice acting.
This game is amazing, the graphics are eye candy, the transitions are smooth; and it's VERY friendly for beginners. I love the concept of this game, the battles a adorable, the summonings are satisfying and the damage talent animations are darn hilarious. This game is very good overall and no I'm not one of those paid review people, this is my honest review and I recommend this to anyone who loves food and asian animations (especially anime) but to be honest anyone who plays this will enjoy it.
The gameplay needs more improvements... story wise. It would be nice if the narrative of the game start with the player choosing a food soul and then from then on they collect more. The story of the cut scenes also needs work as it seems like the story is not consistent. Also for future developments it would be nice to have the food a side quest where they can earn skins
All fun and nice.but sometimes i can't equip a fallen angel. The screen always mention " Card search in progress >< " Which is extremely annoying . Pls fix it
Enjoying it so far, get stuck a few times because I'm unsure how to progress as I'm getting beaten in a few levels. I'm not sure why the second area is opened yet I cant play it. Characters are pretty cute. Wish we had English dubbing or at least more subtitles so I know what my food souls are staying. Edit: uninstalled. Game became too much of a grind every day and more aimed towards paying players. May come back to it in the future.
After the update on 2 Sep, the Chinese audio doesn't work anymore and some of the Chinese words also become funny symbols. Can you please fix this!
This game is fabulous to the point where I get on Food Fantasy everyday and that’s really surprising because every game I download on the App Store and play, the next day I just forget about it but when it comes to Food Fantasy, I just get on the game every day. That’s how good it is. There’s more amazing things about Food Fantasy.
It’s a great game if it did everything perfectly, but it’s not perfect and there are a few problems with the game.It first starts holding your hand through the start, you feel you know everything, then you hit a roadblock because you don’t know hoe to feed your food souls food to give them more energy (freshness), once you figure it out you start trying to unlock new dishes, only to keep failing over and over again, there is no cookbook, you can just guess from the look of the dish and it’s description, if you can get past that, you start hitting the biggest wall in this game, leveling up.Under most circumstances, leveling up is not hard, but in this game there is a limitation, the food souls can only get as far in levels as you are, so if your only level 5, your food souls can only get to level 5, it’s kinda infuriating, and it makes using exp potions basically worthless at the start.
Would love to give higher ratings but there are too many glitches. First, the game crashes for no reason. Second, the game lags for a few second before it moves again. Lastly, i cannot hear the music game and voice actors voices....the music and voice actors voices are top notch together with the graphics...please help me fix these bugs! The game is boring without the sounds :(
Lots of things to do, many cute characters, and there's always an event going on! I'm not a fan of gacha stuff but the game is rather generous with how easily you can get crystals/soul embers. I'm pretty satisfied with the game so far.
No leniency and way too moneygrabber. Just avoid this, seriously. Rate is bad when you do summoning and it takes a lot just to enhance your character and it force you to find a way to enhance your char which is pulling their dupes from summon pool. You cannot go forward and continue the game without strong and enhanced character, or if you don't spend $$$. You'll end up regret a lot for spending your money like me, thinking it can help support them and you yourself but the game give u mid finger

The game has a great story and each character designs are well put together. It's an enjoyable game always have something fun to do and they put lot of effort in event. The community listen to most of us, they care about their game base and given so much that they make it fair for all and free to play friendly. I really recommend for anyone who into semi active gamer that you won't have time to put down and just enjoy the ride!!
