Unity Remote 5

Unity Remote 5 for PC and MAC

Is a Tools game developed by Unity Technologies ApS located at Unity Technologies ApS Niels Hemmingsens Gade 24 1153 Copenhagen K. The game is suitable for Everyone and required Android version is 4.1 and up.
With Unity Remote 5, an Android os may be used by you unit to look at and test your game live, correct inside the Unity Editor 5.4 or later. Unity Remote 5 tends to make your Android product work as remote-control. It streams touch, accelerometer, gyroscope, screen and cam positioning modification activities back once again to Unity publisher. This is certainly ideal for quick development once you don't like to compile and deploy any project to Android unit for each apparent change and would like to make use of the Unity Editor Game screen alternatively.
Extended item paperwork is present on Unity handbook: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/UnityRemote5.html

User Reviews
you know, i saw the reviews but i thought maybe they were just doing something wrong. i mean its entirely possibile that a lot of the bad experiences are user error. unfortunately thats not the case. something is severely wrong with this app, it has 0 functionality. it just flat out doesnt work. its very dissapointing as someone who was very excited to test my very first android project only for me not to be able to test functionality without building the apk and moving it to my devices. 1 star
It's buggy. It doesn't seem to work even when all settings, ndk sdk build settings, editor settings have been configured and google USB driver installed on unity last version of 2019 and on any version tbh.
This app is good for viewing the UI in the game but extremely laggy. Those bad reviews that says it doesn't work are probably beginners who doesn't install the Android SDK, NDK & JDK modules at installation.
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😍😍😍😍😍😍😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
This app was good but now it is useless. Guys listen, there is a new unity remote version 2 which is now needed for newer versions of unity. Try that out if you have any problem
Please also realse the Unity 3D engine for android.I am a child of 9 yearsbut I am interested in game development I dont have a computer or a laptop I am just able to build some games like GTA 5,Farming simulator, pop up or aquatic games please upload it will be a great help to me.If you dislike or like my idea then please reply.I am waiting for reply. Thanks for reading.
All the reviews saying it doesn't work clearly have the editor settings misconfigured on Unity as I was able to get this working in less than 30 seconds. With that said, in its current state, it's way too laggy for testing actual gameplay but for seeing how things look and the layout of UI, it's fine.
Did every possible solution I could find in every possible order and could still not make it work. Just deleted the app. I hope one day Unity comes with a better solution to test mobile. For now, I'm faster just constantly building and adding it manually to my phone.
I thought that this would not work at all after I used it but after some trial and error, I found out that you need to have Unity installed with the Android SDK and have your phone hooked up with Unity Remote 5 before launching Unity on the computer. And do not forget to turn on developer mode and USB debugging.
Followed instructions and gone through all suggestions, still I am facing lot of issues, this app needs lots of improvement
It works, you just need to put your phone into developer mode and install required sdk components on your computer
This app is not used by the latest unity editors. Just go to build settings and choose your attached device from Run Device drop down menu. You may need to install USB driver for your device on your pc
Doesn't work, like pretty much everything in my nascent experience with Unity so far. With so many obstacles to learning and development, I really don't get why people continually rave about Unity.
Ok, I got it to work. You will need to make sure your phone is in developer mode and allows for USB debugging etc. Then you will likely see your device under File\Build Settings->Android->Run Device. Build and run it once. It works there after with press of play button. The resolution sucks and the lag as well. But it is a previewer so it does its job. Not the best and tons of space for improvements.
Great app to use for mobile prototyping and development, one downside, it doesn't currently work with the new Input System for touch controls, hoping this will be sorted out soon.
Absolutely nightmare to work with. I try everything, still not work. Why bother release this anymore? (Just deprecate this already 😠😠😠)
